LOCAL ENERGY ASSESSMENT FUND (LEAF)
COMMUNITY CONSULTATION TRAINING DAY
HILTON HALL COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council & Climate Consulting Ltd, INVITE YOU to attend a LEAF CONSULTATION TRAINING DAY on TUESDAY 20th MARCH 2012, This is an ALL DAY EVENT (Booking-in & Coffee/Tea at 9:30am for a 10am start). There will be Guest Speakers and Specialists talking about PV Solar Panels, Thermal Insulation, Heat Source Pumps, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy measures, products and advice. There is an opportunity to have a guided tour of Hilton Hall to see what energy saving measures we have incorporated / adopted in the Hilton Hall Project.
The Energy Efficiency Officer for Wolverhampton City Council will inform Residents of Energy Funding opportunities and will have Free Gifts to hand out on the Day. Buffet Lunch & Refreshments will be provided (however, you will need to Book-In prior to the Event, no later than Tuesday 13th March in order to Cater for the correct amount of People attending). THIS EVENT IS FUNDED BY THE ENERGY SAVING TRUST FUND and forms part of an wider energy efficiency project based around Investigation & Auditing of Seven Local Community Groups premises
This is ". . . As part of our programme to put sustainability into action, this project will be able to expand the renewable and sustainable educational experience Hilton Hall and Partners can offer their many visitors and act as a case study for the local community on the benefits of using energy efficiency and renewable energy".

We have a wide range of community based activities already happening at Hilton Hall with further activities planned for the future: At present we have on offer: Zumba Fitness & Dance Classes (Monday evenings), Judo Classes (Tuesday & Thursday evenings), Senior Citizens Tea Dance & Bingo Sessions (Wednesday & Thursday afternoons), Slimming World Class (Wednesday evening), Christian Prayer Meetings (Sunday mornings), Lanesfield Tenants & Resident Association Meetings (2nd Monday in the Month - 2pm till 4pm), Walking For Health 'Walks' (1st & 3rd Thursday in the Month 10am-11:15am). Hilton Hall is also used for Community Meetings & Get-Togethers by: Wolverhampton Homes, by the local Police, PACT & Local Neighbourhood Partnerships Teams, the Spring Vale Community First Panel and our Ward Councillors Advice Surgery Meetings with Councillors Malcolm Gwinnett, Mike Heap & Richard Whitehouse. Other Community Groups use Hilton Hall for their activities such as Windsor Centre for Children & Families, DY3, Living Streets and the Black Country Wildlife Trust
