2011 April to June: The following individuals have contributed their time and labour helping us with the renovation of our changing rooms rebuild:  Ashley Cox, Craig Gutteridge, Aaron  Rawlings, Parm Singh & Korum Linton (apologies for any spelling mistakes)

2010 October 8th:  Many Thanks to Paul Ingram (Paul is both a valued Friend of the family, but also one of our WYJC Judo Club Members) who offered his services, time and materials 'Free of Charge' to complete the latest Plastering work in the Front Entrance Lobby, helping us to finish off the last of the 'Upstairs' plastering jobs which will enable us to Open Up again once more.

2010 August 9th:  HHCA agreed to take part in a new and exciting Government initiative that allows long-term unemployed 18 to 25 year olds the opportunity to gain valuable work experience via the Community Task Force Project - by working at Hilton Hall as Volunteers.  This has been organised by Jeff James of Groundwork West Midlands - linked with the Wolverhampton Employment Services and will provide us with up to ten volunteers who will be able to help us with our 'Scheduled Work' programme and at the same time acquire skills and experience in a variety of work-related situations.   The Team of Volunteers include: John, Danny L, Josh, Lee, Gregor, Rickie, Mark, Dan M, Ryan & Paul.   And a BIG Thank You to Keith (from Cardiff - sorry don't know your Surname?) who obtained our sponsorship for the New Electric Hand-Dryers (from his Employer) and wired them in for us.

We must once more Thank Jo Manser for her continued fundraising activities on behalf of Hilton Hall.  She raised £350.00 for us by taking part the Birmingham & Black Country Fun Run (and for helping us with many other jobs around the Hall when on vacation from her Job).  Thank You Jo.

A Big Thank You to the following Individuals who have 'Volunteered their Time to us' by putting so many valuable voluntary working hours into the Hall:

Firstly; To the initial team who got the 'Ball Rolling' with the Hilton Hall Rescue Plan: Richard Lord - Manager of the Warlords Rugby Club, Keith Jones, Debbie Cox & Heather Manser (Management & Coaching Team at WYJC).  Followed by: The whole of the Cox Family i.e. Dee, Eddie, Simon, Debbie & Ashley Cox, Heather & Jo Manser, Peter & Debbie Jones, Tharinder Rathnapala, Ian Dobson and Paul Anderson.  To; Gladys Pearson & Beryl Weaver and the Team at the Lanesfield Residents & Tenants Association (LTRA).  Mrs Yates and the members of the Lanesfield Tea Dance & Bingo Club.  And to; Paul Ingram re: plastering materials, John Darby of Image Styles,  Many Thanks to Matthew Viney of the Wolverhampton Chronicle & Express & Star Newspaper Group for keeping everyone informed of our progress via his news articles.

A big thank you to Patrick Jones for the loan of much of the specialist equipment and tools that have helped us with so many repair jobs at Hilton Hall.  And a MEGA-BIG Thank You to Dean and Team from Jordan Industrial Services of Lanesfield.

Jo Manser BSc (Hons), who is one of the qualified Judo Coaches with the Wolverhampton Youth Judo Centre, ran the EDF Energy Birmingham Half Marathon on Sunday 11th October 2009 on behalf of HHCA fundraising campaign.  As well as being a keen Runner and Brown Belt in Judo, Jo  wanted to help our fundraising campaign and promote our local community project and to raise awareness of our Hall Rescue Plan.  Jo presented the Chairman of the Hilton Hall Community Association with a cheque for six hundred pounds.  She did the Half-Marathon in 2hours, 17 minutes, 19 seconds.  Well Done Jo and a BIG THANK YOU!    A VERY BIG AND SINCERE "THANK YOU" TO ONE & ALL.

We want to work with local and national companies and trained individuals who are able to help our project out in any way they can.  We are looking for donations of money, labour, building materials, fixtures & fittings and expertise, as well as help and assistance in any other way too that can be brought to the project in a positive manner.  In return we will do our best to promote those who help us in any way that we can.  One very obvious way is to advertise their services on these web-pages:

There is also a very long list of people who have donated between £5 to £20 from our initial fundraising activities at the start of our Rescue Plan' via our 'Buy a Brick' campaign.    We have put their Names on a Poster which is permanently displayed in the Entrance Lobby at Hilton Hall and also on this PDF link.
